So lots and lots has happened over the past couple of months!  We sold our 6 bedroom house with a pool in Las Vegas to move here:

Thought the worst of my worries would be these:

Nope.  This was is my bathroom to great me my first night here.

Moths, beetles… what comes before moths and beetles… no biggie.

Unless they are in your KITCHEN!  Everywhere!!!

Found the nicest bug guy ever who recommended the strangest remedy ever.  Saving that for another post though ;)

All in all it’s all worth it to have this as my backyard now:

Who needs a pool when there’s a lake down the street.

Yay for national forests and the people who buy cabins literally next door but are too busy to actually visit said cabin so they rent to city dwellers itching to get away from the city, like me.

The passed few weeks have been full of highs and lows; lot’s of excitement mixed with the agony of waiting.  After much  trampling through our house by strangers at all hours of the day everyday, we found two buyers!  We accepted one of the offers (a family relocating to Vegas from New Jersey) and waited for the inspection and appraisal to happen.  The inspector and appraiser came within one day of each other.  It all happened very quickly.  Unfortunately, even though the inspector who was here for hours managed to have his report to us the same night, the appraiser was probably here twenty minutes and we didn’t hear anything for another week and a half.

Now we’re waiting for an appeal by both our realtor and their realtor about the appraisal because the comparison homes the appraiser used to  determine the value of our house were miles away from our neighborhood and completely different in size and amenities.  So, this is what I’m dealing with now.  Trying to distract myself and not stress about it!

Thought I’d update you!  Once we get this move figured out I’ll be back in blogland.  I have a pretty big overhaul in the works for you!  In the meantime, I’m tweeting away when I can.  So follow me of your interested!  Happy Sunday!
