Thanks to this post tweeted by Ready Made Magazine, I discovered 17 & Baking.  These nanaimo bars look fantastic!  I’ve only attempted nanaimos once and they were regular ones, but oh so heavenly!  Can’t wait to try her recipe for maple walnut ones here.

Random acts of kindness week is coming up, February 15-21.  Thanks to Kind Over Matter (which I found via One Pretty Thing), I have plenty of inspiration.  Their blog is “dedicated to Kind Acts, Inspirational Art and Kind Projects.”  They have gorgeous printables available as well.  I love this Christan D. Larson quote.  Follow them on Twitter for daily doses of happy, who couldn’t use more of that?

I found Unhappy Hipster via a post from sfgirlbybay (who is quite a find herself by the way!  See her post on n.e.e.t. magazine here).  This blog consists of images with really great taglines.  The caption under the image above, for instance, is:  ”Trapped by the tawny palette, he struggled through yet another brown knit scarf.”
